Job Description

An engineering company is seeking a Warehouse Administrator to work a part-time position between 15 to 20 hours each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to enter orders into QuickBooks
  • Communicate with clients on the phone for updates, place orders, to get quotes, research parts, etc.
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders and file documentation
  • Go into warehouse to receive deliveries
  • Use a sit-down forklift and pallet jack
  • Pull stock for orders, prepare for shipping, and then ship out
  • Stock new inventory on shelves and keeping warehouse organized
  • Create packing slips, bills of lading, and coordinate carrier pickups
  • The have a section of "old/outdated parts" that some clients will still need; overflow is sold on Ebay so you will be doing that also
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must have administrative and warehouse experience
  • Tow motor and pallet jack experienced is required 
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks and familiar with Ebay
  • Must have the ability to prepare purchase orders, create packing slips, and bills of lading
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and professional
  • Must be flexible and able to multi-task easily to accommodate changing priorities 
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission of the organization is needed
