Supply Chain Manager
Job Description
A manufacturing company has an opportunity available for a Supply Chain Manager to work first shift from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Keep track of logistics and update the company’s inventory
- Analyze operational performance and resolve issues
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations meet quality and safety standards
- Assist with creating effective business plans, so teamwork skills are important
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues and monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records, find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes, and resolve issues that come up
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
- Perform other office duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar field
- Project management experience is preferred
- Must be able to negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
- Must have great leadership and communication abilities
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to analyze and resolve issues while meeting quality, legal, and safety standards
- Must have the ability to create effective business plans
- Must have an articulate, professional, and upbeat phone voice
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills while working in a team environment
