Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to work Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Pull parts out of stock, process customer orders accurately, and pack orders for shipments
- Load and unload trucks
- Take product off conveyor and prepare for shipment and maintains overstock locations as appropriate
- Report all problems involving damage to storage racks, equipment, or stored product
- Pick-up products for customer orders
- Assist with maintaining product labels on the storage racks
- Learns and utilizes MIE system and enter data on product as required
- Perform shipping clerical and other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have previous shipping/receiving experience
- Must be able to pass a shipping test and, at least, meet the picking standards
- Must have the ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and push or pull up to 150 pounds
- Must be able to count parts, and accurately read part numbers and a tape measure
- Must be able to learn the system and use scanners
- Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and have work boots
