Security Alarm Technician
Job Description
A local company is offering immediate, full-time positions for a Technician install security alarms. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis
Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair alarm systems and related products
- Install security, cameras, and access control systems
- Upgrade obsolete alarm systems to modern equipment
- Accurately maintain required documentation
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Adhere to company safety policy and quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum 1-year experience working with alarm systems; CCTV, Access Control, Basic IP Networking, Bosch/DSC/Napco/Honeywell experience, as well as fire alarm experience and license is preferred
- Must be able to learn new products, techniques, and skills quickly
- Must have the ability to perform work and solve technical problems independently
- One year computer experience is preferred
- Must have effective communication and teamwork skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to work all day in various conditions and keep up with appointments as scheduled
