Secondary Operator - 2 Needed - First/Second Shifts
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking individuals to operate secondary machines after set-up has been completed. There is an opening on both first and second shift; however, training will be done on first shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Complete training and understand that all inspections including in-process inspection check sheets must be completed on time
- Tend to machines, inspect parts, shut off machine, and enter results in computer system
- Attempt common troubleshooting, machine adjustments, maintain lubrication system, and perform minor daily maintenance
- Read blueprints
- Meet engineering standards for quality, productivity, and tool usage, be familiar with IS09001/IATF16949 procedures, understand and comply with bin procedures, and costs relative to scrap
- Maintain work area and machine clean and safe
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Must have a High school Diploma or GED
- Must have a mechanical aptitude
- Must be familiar with out-of-control conditions and responses
- Must be able to identify potential problems by reviewing progressions
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must have knowledge of the lock out/tag out procedure and plant and environmental safety concepts
- Must have a strong work ethic and a positive team environment
