SMT Technician - 4 Needed

A manufacturing company is seeking individuals who can perform SMP Touch-up and work under a microscope.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Duties:

• Read and understand documentation, drawings, bills of material, and processes and then translate this information into the product
• Use computers and computer systems to program set up functions, enter data, and/or process information
• Develop and maintain programs associated with screen printers, surface mount machines, and re-flow ovens to work as integrated system to produce quality assemblies which meet or exceed customer expectations
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to help develop and refine the work instructions during the prototype and/or production stage
• Set up SMT production equipment and machinery
• Use precision measuring tools or equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc. 
• Load or unload materials into the SMT equipment
• Establish temperature profiles, program, monitor, and operate re-flow soldering equipment
• Position, align, and adjust PCB and component parts to facilitate
• Conduct trial runs before soldering and make necessary adjustments

Qualifications:

• Must be able to set up SMT production equipment and machinery
• Must have IPC610-JSTD Certification experience
• Must have the ability to use precision measuring tools or equipment
• Must have a steady hand and be able to work with small parts under a microscope
• Must be able to read and understand documentation, drawings, bills of material, and processes
• Must be computer literate with the ability to program set up functions, enter data, and/or process information
• The ability to assist with developing and refining work instructions during the prototype and/or production stage is needed
• Must be able to establish temperature profiles, program, monitor, and operate re-flow soldering equipment
• Must have the ability to conduct trial runs before soldering and make necessary adjustments
