Quality Inspector - Second Shift
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform receiving and first piece and in-process inspections for work in process. This is a second shift position.
Job Duties:
- Measure and document part dimensions
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Follow written and oral instructions
- Maintain company quality systems
- Follow all company safety and operations policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have a High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with an ISO9001 quality system preferred
- Accurately use micrometers, digital and dial calipers, height gages, gage pins, protractors, hardness testers, and optical comparators
- Must have a working knowledge of shop mathematics and trigonometry
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications and follow written and oral instructions
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task, and work independently
- Must be motivated to learn and develop within the company
- Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
