Quality Control Technician

We are seeking an experienced dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team.  You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Job Duties:

• Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in process production, finished products, and recording the results
• Approve incoming materials and in process production by confirming specifications, conduct a visual and measurement test, and reject and return unacceptable materials
• Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
• Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
• Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
• Coach and mentor junior employees and seek opportunities to grow leadership in others
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading tech publications, attending seminars, and watching industry videos
• Keep and maintain compliance reports
• Perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred buy not required
• Two-year work experience in leadership or a managerial position in lieu of a degree 
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office
• Must have excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Must be able to pay a high attention to detail
• Must have the ability to maintain and update inspection and compliance reports
