Quality Assurance Technician - Second Shift
Job Description
A leading global manufacturing company has an opening for a Quality Technician to join their team. This is a second shift opportunity working from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; however, you need to be flexible to work overtime at the beginning or end of the shift or on weekends. Training will be scheduled for 1 month on first shift and then job moves to second shift.
Job Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect samples of parts, test, and measuring sample parts
- Ensure conformance to specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, hardness and other standards
- Perform PPAP, APQP, Gage Control, SPC, and Final Audit
- Understand and comply with relevant Management System requirements
- Complete scheduled audits and assist with training
- Perform other duties as required
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be familiar with visual inspection and the concepts of measuring and dimensioning
- Must have the ability to pass a vision test annually
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English
- Must have basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Must have an eye for detail, the ability to follow specification, and meet deadlines
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
