Shipping/Parts Sorter
Job Description
A manufacturing company is offering an immediate, full-time position for an individual who will be working in the Shipping Department as needed to cover for absences and vacations. You will learn how to do the shipping and receiving paperwork, make labels, contact truck companies to arrange pickups, etc.; however, the majority of the time you will be manually sorting parts. Hours for this opportunity are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, must be computer literate with the ability to learn the shipping software, must be able to accurately follow work orders and instructions, must have an eye for detail and able to retain knowledge, must be able to follow all safety rules, procedures, and regulations, and must be dependable. Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
