A local manufacturing company has an opportunity available for an Operations Coordinator who will maintain efficient and smooth operations at the facility.  This is a first shift position.

Job Duties:

• Inspect machines, document any noticeable damages, complete customer damage report, and email to the appropriate team members.
• Inspect and complete all return estimates for future repairs and look up part numbers in the machine manual, as well as, cost associated with the part ordered 
• Receive, manage, and process work order requests and ensure problems are resolved quickly
• Ensure assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use
• Complete small building repairs, work with the local contractors to gather estimates, and schedule any work needed at the facility
• Assist with keeping our facility clean and free of any potential safety hazards, and ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment
• Work with manager to schedule and track yard projects
• Perform other office duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years mechanical and shop environment experience is preferred; Automotive background could be helpful
• Must have a mechanical background
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs
• Must have excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to multi-task, manage your time efficiently, and finish all projects on time
• Must have the ability to perform well and learn in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, bend, lift, stretch, climb and crawl to maintain equipment and building, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform work in a variety of weather conditions
