Job Description

We are looking for an Online Sales/Parts Specialist to to seek, contact, and negotiate with potential and current customers in an in store and online environment and attain sales by listening to customer needs, suggesting solutions, and demonstrating products.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with rotating Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write descriptions, photographs, posts, and monitor parts for sales on various online sales platforms
  • Answers phone calls and online inquiries regarding in-store and online parts sales
  • Prepare invoices and receive payment for online and in-store parts sales
  • Pull, package, and ship product for delivery to the customer
  • Help to attain or exceed established revenue and profit goals for the store and attend trade shows, expos, etc.
  • Determine customer needs based on parts inspection and description of malfunction
  • Inform, educate, and sell customers on the use, features, and substitutions of parts and products
  • Examine returned parts for defects and warranty qualifications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical files for ordering needs, special orders, and products previously delivered
  • Keep store stocked and clean with a neat and orderly appearance
  • Run an accurate cash register and controlling all money in the proper manner 

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma
  • Experience in automotive or trailer part sales, basic mechanical knowledge of trailer components and towing accessories is preferred 
  • Must have excellent oral and written English communication and reading skills
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret industry and trade magazines and a tape measure
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office with knowledge of social medial platforms, on-line marketplaces, and spreadsheets
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to pay a high attention to detail 
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, with occasional stooping, kneeling, stretching, crouching, and lifting up to 75 pounds
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance, appropriate for the position and situation 
  • Must have confidentiality at all times
