Mechanical Maintenance Repair Technician - First/Second Shift
Job Description
A large manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Repair Technician to repair, diagnose, and provide maintenance to equipment and facilities. There are openings at both their Cleveland and Avon Ohio facilities on first and second shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Production machine troubleshooting and maintenance
- Install, rig, tear-down equipment, and fabricate
- Read blueprints, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Make general heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical repairs
- Use tool room equipment and machinery
- Mechanical processes, machine repair, and oil and grease machines
- Install punch presses, conveyor lines, assemble tapping and lathe machines
- Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a high-level mechanical aptitude
- Must have tool room equipment and machinery experience
- Knowledge of mechanical processes, machine repair, and maintenance is needed
- Must know how to read blueprints, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Must have analytical skills for troubleshooting machinery malfunctions and handling fabrications
- Must have knowledge of heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical
- A math aptitude for basic math, fractions, decimals, and metric system is needed
- Must have the ability to work in heights and do some heavy lifting
- Must have a safety-first approach to work
