Mechanical Engineer/Estimator
Job Description
A local contractor is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Estimator to estimate and propose commercial HVAC projects. This is a full-time, first shift position working 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Place and review large equipment orders
- Contribute to scheduling and planning of workload vs staff availability
- Manage HVAC installation projects
- Perform other duties assigned
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have previous Mechanical Engineering experience
- Must be proficient with CAD Design
- Must possess knowledge of estimating commercial HVAC projects
- Must have strong data analysis skills using statistical tools
- Must be able to pay attention to detail, have good communication skills, have a high energy level, and able to deal with frequent change and delays
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and able to work both independently and also as a team player
- Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and a professional image
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality
