Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team.  Work hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Job Duties:

  • Operate custom machinery or extrusion die equipment
  • Manage all sales functions to include sale proposals
  • Set annual sales goals and conduct monthly reviews to monitor the progress of these goals
  • Work closely with engineering and operations team in transferring orders
  • Assist Marketing Department to develop a message of innovation and product differentiation
  • Attend trade shows as needed
  • Travel throughout Ohio and surrounding states up to 70% of the time
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, or Business field
  • Must have 3 to 5 years' experience with custom machinery or extrusion dies
  • Extrusion machinery experience is highly desired
  • Must have experience working with clients, vendors, etc.
  • Must have Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Must have excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to pay a high attention to detail is required
  • Must be able to work with the team to develop and achieve company goals
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 70% of the time within Ohio and surrounding states
