Manufacturing Sales Engineer
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Operate custom machinery or extrusion die equipment
- Manage all sales functions to include sale proposals
- Set annual sales goals and conduct monthly reviews to monitor the progress of these goals
- Work closely with engineering and operations team in transferring orders
- Assist Marketing Department to develop a message of innovation and product differentiation
- Attend trade shows as needed
- Travel throughout Ohio and surrounding states up to 70% of the time
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, or Business field
- Must have 3 to 5 years' experience with custom machinery or extrusion dies
- Extrusion machinery experience is highly desired
- Must have experience working with clients, vendors, etc.
- Must have Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
- Must have excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to pay a high attention to detail is required
- Must be able to work with the team to develop and achieve company goals
- Must have the ability to travel up to 70% of the time within Ohio and surrounding states
