Maintenance Technician - Third Shift

A local manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.  This is a third shift position and you will work 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency repairs of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance 
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance 
• Perform basic machining, welding, brazing, plumbing, and carpentry
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
• Follow and comply with OSHA safety and health rules 
• Perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Technical training and exposure to high-speed equipment
• Must have 2+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to abide by all OSHA safety and health rules and regulations
• Basic plumbing, carpentry, machining, welding, and brazing knowledge is needed
• Must have the ability to read and interpret manual and work orders
• Must be able to safely use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
• Must be mechanically inclined with strong problem solving and analysis skills
• Must have excellent discretion and ethical conduct with a technical capacity
• Must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and have the ability to lift over 50 pounds
