Job Description

A local company is seeking Aircraft Landing Gear Mechanics to join their team.  You will work Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform overhaul maintenance work on various aircraft landing gear
  • Service, inspect, and assemble aircraft landing gear, associated components and effective perform work to meet deadlines and performance goals
  • Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain fully functioning equipment according to data provided
  • Ensure all maintenance performed is safe, per manuals and ensure documents are properly completed
  • Perform maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks as assigned

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED, a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License, and driver's license
  • Must have 2 to 5 years overhaul maintenance experience working on Boeing landing gear 
  • Must be able to operate equipment and read technical information
  • Must be aware of working near and around moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, and exposure to loud noises
  • Must have the ability to read manufacturing manuals and carry, lift, or push up to 50 pounds
  • Must be good organizational skills while managing multiple priorities
  • Must have strong troubleshooting skills
