Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We have an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic to work first shift from 6:45 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance of equipment including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical operations
- Generate work orders for any repairs
- Identify, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and upgrade manufacturing equipment
- Perform tooling changeovers on auxiliary equipment and make any basic maintenance repairs
- Read blueprints and schematics
- Operate tow motor and scissor lift in a safe manner
- Follow and abide by all company and safety rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- At least 5 years' experience with plastic injection molding production and assembly equipment with specific hands on experience on high volume, speed, and multi-cavity presses
- Must have a tow motor or scissor lift license
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Must be focused on safety, maintain quality workmanship, and work effectively as part of a team and individually
- Must have the ability to perform all tasks safely in accordance with company policies
