Machine Repair Mechanic
Job Description
A Lake County Manufacturing Company is seeking a Machine Repair Mechanic. You will work second shift, from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform the duties of a Machine Repair Mechanic in a safe and timely manner
- Repair production equipment as needed
- Implement and execute Preventative Maintenance Schedule
- Accurately report all maintenance work performed, material, and parts used on a daily basis
- Keep work area clean and tidy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum 3 years Industrial Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
- A working knowledge of machine operations in a manufacturing environment is needed
- Must have a fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs
- Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot 24 VDC, 110, and 480/600 3 Phase VAC Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Pneumatic Systems
- Must have the ability fabricate steel using a torch, welder, and associated tooling
- Must be able to read Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Structural prints and schematics
- Must have basic computer skills
- The ability to safely operate power tools is needed
- Must be comfortable standing, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, work with hands and/or arms in the same repetitive motion above and below shoulder level
