Machine Maintenance Technician
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking an individual to fill coolants and oils and assist with various maintenance duties. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Duties:
- Maintain all machinery and keep track of tools, supplies, and parts used for maintaining machinery
- Remain knowledgeable and supportive of the Quality Policy, including how your job affects quality, delivery and cost
- Communicate problems with supervisor
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Understand the proper technique of "lock out-tag out"
- Assist in the implementation and adherence to the ISO 9001; 2008 commitment and
- Adhere and follow all procedures and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have previous machine maintenance experience
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to understand the proper technique of "lock out-tag out"
- Must have the ability to understand, support, and assist in the implementation and adherence to the ISO 9001; 2008 commitment
- Must remain knowledgeable and supportive of the Quality Policy
- Must be extremely safety-conscious and detail-oriented
- Must have excellent communication skills while being able to work independently
- Must be able to adhere to all safety requirements and follow procedures as required
