Inside Sales Representative

Do you enjoy working in Sales?  If so, we have a steel manufacturing company that has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to potential customers, and follow-up on leads
• Understand customer’s needs and identify sales opportunities
• Answer potential customers questions and send additional information and quotations per email
• Maintain production and service information and updates
• Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers
• Explain and demonstrate feature of products and services and stay informed about competing products and services
• Close sales, achieve sales targets, and visit trade fairs

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent
• Must have 3 years professional experience in Sales of Business-to-Business
• Knowledge regarding the steel industry/products is preferred
• Must be highly proficient using Microsoft Office; Microsoft Navision Dynamics ERP is preferred
• Must have excellent customer service, communications, and multi-tasking skills
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, have strong listening and sales skills, along with the ability to achieve targets
• Must have a pleasant and professional phone voice and excellent phone and cold calling skills
