HSE Manager Assistant
Job Description
A local company is offering a HSE Manager Assistant who will work closely with the HSE Manager to support key safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will work first shift.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HSE programs and policies
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Support OSHA, EPA, and other compliance tracking and reporting
- Assist with employee safety training and awareness initiative
- Collect and analyze HSE data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Help coordinate hazard communication, emergency preparedness, and safety initiatives
- Support environmental compliance efforts such as waste management and sustainability projects
- Perform other duties as required
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must be a recent graduate (or final-year student) in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, prioritize work, and operate with a sense of urgency
- Must be able to support environmental OSHA, EPA, and other compliance efforts
