General Warehouse Operator - Third Shift
Job Description
We are seeking an individual to work in a warehouse pulling bar stock and various other duties. This is a third shift from 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
Job Duties:
- Pull bar stock for production/cutting orders
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Final packaging of material per customer specifications
- Ensure size, material finish, and accuracy of finished goods
- Stage material for outbound shipping
- Operate a crane, forklift, or side loader to move materials
- Conduct daily inspections on all equipment and machines and identify issues
- Confirm job to customers purchase orders
- Maintain good housekeeping, work in a safe manner, and use all safety equipment
- Perform miscellaneous duties to support saw operator and other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must be able to operate a forklift, side loader, and overhead crane
- Must be able to safely execute job tasks to meet productivity goals
- Must have the ability to identify and report workplace hazards to supervisor
- Must be computer literate with the ability find, enter, and print information
- Must have the ability to maintain good housekeeping skills, work in a safe manner, and use all safety equipment as provided
- Must be able to complete Basic Skill Assessment and physical requirements for vision, hearing, lifting, and mobility
- Must be physical able to pass physical requirements for vision, hearing, mobility, and lifting requirements
- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues, able to be on time, and work overtime when needed
