We are seeking Kitchen Rotation Associates to support the production line by performing a variety of duties.  You will work Monday through Thursday from 6:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. with some Fridays as needed.

Duties:

• Inspect glass jars, place on conveyor belt, remove jars that are cracked or chipped, and stop line if jar breaks during production
• Report large amount of defects
• Inspect onions before placing in dicer, remove and discard any onion pearls, and report any unusual foreign material if found
• Place onion in dicer, dice onions into a colander, put onions into bowl, add previously washed red peppers, and add all to conveyor
• Inspect product as it passes on conveyor, remove stems, leaves, bean stalk, and other foreign material
• Mix beans from conveyor to can opener and verify correct ingredients are mixed for each batch
• Remove jams in can opener and crusher and operate can crusher
• Ensure safety by following Manufacturing Practices and Safety Standards
• Complete food and workplace safety and job specific training per guidelines
• Keep work area clean and free of all tripping hazards

Requirements:

• Must be willing to learn and operate multiple pieces of equipment throughout processing
• Must be able to understand and carry out basic instructions while performing tasks
• Must be trainable to do all jobs in processing area
• Must be excellent at multi-tasking and taking on multiple responsibilities
• Musts be extremely detail-oriented
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including overtime and weekends
• Must have the ability to adhere to all safety regulations that are specific to food industry
• Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, and crouching, occasionally being exposed to wet, hot, humid, and/or cold conditions, and lifting up to 50 pounds
