Job Description

We are seeking an individual who has Electric/Electro-Mechanical Assembly experience to assure that sub-assemblies, wired and assembled, function as intended and work right the first time, in accordance with drawings and instructions Work hours are Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

  • Assemble, do point-to-point wiring, and install a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical components, parts, and sub-assemblies to result in printed circuit boards, power supply panels, power amplifier chasses, full-sized instrument racks, cable harnesses, etc.
  • Read drawings, blueprints, electrical and pneumatic schematics, and wiring diagrams, use good judgment when dimensions or tolerances or component values seem inconsistent or unworkable
  • Disassemble, inspect, modify, rework, refurbish, troubleshoot, reassemble, and test units as required, use DVM, scope, and Variac to verify quality of work performed
  • Determine method and sequence of assembly operations, utilize small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
  • Complete work on time, keep oneself and fellow workers safe and injury-free, and maintain a positive attitude and being a team player
  • Perform necessary hand operations such as de-burring, drilling, grinding, and sawing
  • Install software programs and use test software to verify operation of newly built test modules

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have prior Electric/Electro-Mechanical Assembly experience
  • Must be able to assemble, point-to-point wiring, and install a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical components, parts, and sub-assemblies to result in printed circuit boards, power supply panels, power amplifier chasses, full-sized instrument racks, cable harnesses, etc.
  • Ability to read drawings, blueprints, electrical and pneumatic schematics, and wiring diagrams is required
  • Must have the ability to modify, rework, refurbish, troubleshoot, reassemble, and test units as required, use DVM, scope, and Variac to verify quality of work 
  • Utilize soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
  • Install software programs and use test software to verify operation of newly built test modules
  • Configure Windows 10 operating system user accounts and system settings
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to use good judgement, and not afraid to ask questions
  • Must be able to keep workers safe and injury-free and maintain a positive attitude and being a team player
  • Must have a stable work history
