Drafter/Designer - 3 Needed
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking Drafter/Designers to join their team. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in design reviews to examine customer specifications
- Learn the company's extensive drarfting tools an dprocess
- Utilize Autodesk Inventor/Logic Configurator to create precise and complex 3D models, 2D drawings for fabrication, and 3D modeled components to address issues within design as needed
- Provide accurate and timely equipment of approval drawings
- Perform and review necessary engineering calculations as required
- Strive to learn, develop, and improve manufacturing knowledge base and product line
- Provide production shop with support as needed
- Perform other duties as required
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have an Associates Degree in fields related to Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; Relative work experience will also be considered.
- Must have at least 2 years of 3D Inventor or SolidWorks experience and 1-year 2D AutoCAD or Revit drawing experience
- Knowledge ASME Welding standards, metal forming, structural systems, PDM Service, FEA analysis software, Air Pollution equipment, manufacturing design, and GD&T experience is preferred
- Must be familiar with typical metal fabrication methods and materials
- Must have strong math, analytical, and execution skills
- Must be able to multi-task, solve problems, organize, and prioritize cross-functional projects
- Must have excellent visualization and communication skills and ability to interface with multiple teams and individuals
