Die Repair Machinist

Job Description
A manufacturing company has an opportunity available for a Die Repair Machinist. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Friday as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Make Repairs to Die Cast Tooling and make new slides, cores, ejector pins, and pinions
- Set-up and operate Manual Mill, Lathe, and Grinding Machines
- Work from drawings and use precision measuring devices
- Clean die cavities, polish molds, and cores, and adjust gates as needed
- Review production schedule and die repair list to make sure dies are ready for production
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Must have a minimum 3 years’ foundry or equivalent experience
- Must have at least 3 years of die repair experience
- Must be able to operate a tow motor
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to solve problems and multi-task
- Must be able to work together as a team, be organized, and able to prioritize
- Must have steel toed footwear
- Must be able to work overtime when needed
