Counter Clerk/Warehouse Associate
Job Description
An electrical supply company is seeking a Counter Clerk/Warehouse Associate to join their team. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Duties:
- Provide customer service at front counter
- Answer phone calls for order placement
- Enter order into company database
- Schedule order pick-up time
- pull and stage orders using tow motor
- Assist customers loading orders into their vehicles
- Unload product when arrives and put away stock
- Clean up around the office and warehouse
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of wire, cable, connects, etc. as it pertains to new construction is preferred
- Must have the ability to pick up the knowledge of the products that are being sold and their applications
- Must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills
- Must have strong customer service and communication skills
- Must have the ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions
- Must be a team player, able to multi-task, and takes pride in your work
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, be physically fit, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while being on your feet for the entire shift
- Must be hardworking, a quick learner, and have a good attitude
