We are seeking an Estimator who will ensure that easily understood HVAC job estimates are produced and distributed to clients in a timely and accurate manner utilizing all resources, experience and education.   Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand contract service requirements for all clients
• Maintain excellent customer and contractor relations
• Gather all required information in order to effectively and efficiently produce accurate quotes that fall within gross profit parameters and contract limitations
• Maintain a HVAC quote file for reference by authorized associates requiring information
• Review all quote activities on a daily basis to ensure all required quotes have been prepared and distributed and that all approved quotes have been relayed to the appropriate contractors
• Provide HVAC technical training to associates as required and effectively utilize field technician level experience to support training to all personnel
• Attend meetings or conference calls with sales associates, provide technical advice, technical input on potential scope development input, pricing recommendations, and contribute ideas and resolutions
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism and a positive attitude in order to assure good relations with all parties
• Actively seek methods to improve the department efficiency and profitability
• Pursue educational options which may periodically arise that will positively impact the performance of the duties herein 
• Keep workspace in an orderly manner allowing others to easily obtain information that might be required in the absence of the employee
• Maintain a regular and punctual attendance record and adhere to all policies set forth in the company's Personnel Policies Handbook
• Perform any other related duties which might be assigned 

Job Qualifications:

• Must possess a minimum of five years of field-level installation experience in the HVAC and Refrigeration industry
• Must also possess a minimum of 5 years of technician level (on site in the field) estimating experience, interacting successfully with customers directly and working as a liaison between the employer and the customer
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence
• Must have the ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists 
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills
• Must be able to maintain a high degree of professionalism, have a positive attitude, and ensure good relations with all parties
• Must have the ability to abide by all policies set forth in the company's Personnel Policies Handbook
• Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
