A delivery company is offering an immediate, full-time position for a Class A CDL Driver who will drive tractor-trailer trucks to make local deliveries. You will touch freight and hand physical workload, properly track and document activity log, report any issues or incidents to office, and inspect truck before and after each route. This is a second shift position working 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; however, you must be able to work overtime when needed.
Qualified candidates must have a valid CDL-A license, must have an active DOT Medical Card, must have at least 2 years commercial driving experience, must be able to safely operate a tractor-trailer truck, must have the ability to handle a physical workload, must be able to properly track and document activity log, must be able to inspect truck before and after route, and must have a solid work history. Only those candidates that can pass a TSA background, BMV check, and drug screen will be considered. Hazmat endorsement is preferred. This company offers excellent benefits upon permanent hire.
