Job Description

Do you have CNC operation experience?  If so, we have an opportunity available for you to operate CNC Machines.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

  • Operate CNC mill, lathe, drill press, and saw machines
  • Maintain a quality level of all parts produced, take inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to correlate to prints
  • Any discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Machine Shop Manager immediately  
  • Read customer prints for specific parts 
  • Understand cycle times and time estimates
  • Load and unload material of various weight limits  
  • Maintain machine and area around it in a net, clean, and orderly manner 
  • Control projects to insure the minimum of waste of materials
  • Follow all company policies and procedures

 

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have prior experience operating CNC Machines
  • Must be familiar with CNC mill, lathe, drill press, and saw machines
  • Must have the ability to inspect parts and accurately use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools 
  • Must understand cycle times and time estimates
  • Must be able to read customer prints
  • The ability to maintain machine and area around it in a net, clean, and orderly manner is required
  • Must be capable of following all company policies and procedures
