CNC Machinist
Job Description
Do you have CNC operation experience? If so, we have an opportunity available for you to operate CNC Machines. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Operate CNC mill, lathe, drill press, and saw machines
- Maintain a quality level of all parts produced, take inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to correlate to prints
- Any discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Machine Shop Manager immediately
- Read customer prints for specific parts
- Understand cycle times and time estimates
- Load and unload material of various weight limits
- Maintain machine and area around it in a net, clean, and orderly manner
- Control projects to insure the minimum of waste of materials
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have prior experience operating CNC Machines
- Must be familiar with CNC mill, lathe, drill press, and saw machines
- Must have the ability to inspect parts and accurately use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Must understand cycle times and time estimates
- Must be able to read customer prints
- The ability to maintain machine and area around it in a net, clean, and orderly manner is required
- Must be capable of following all company policies and procedures
