Brake Press Operator - Second Shift
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Press Brake Operator with heavy plate fabricating experience. This is a second shift position with overtime optional.
Duties:
- Operate a 400T or larger Press Brake Machine on various steel types
- Use basic CNC Controls
- Perform layout and fitting
- Read blueprints and follow work orders
- Use basic shop math
- Inspect parts using tools
- Operate an overhead crane and tow motor
- Lift up to 50 pounds
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have experience operating a 400T Brake Press Machines
- Must be familiar with basic CNC controls and have basic knowledge of various steel types
- Must have layout and fitting experience
- Must have the ability to read blueprints and follow work orders
- Must understand and use basic shop math
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and work standing for 8 to 10 hours
- Must be safety-conscious
- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues.
