Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Administrator who will be in charge of the organization and efficiency of daily office operations.  This is a first shift position. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivables, payables, payroll, and ensure customers and vendors are up-to-date with payments
  • Prepare and issue financial statements, complete monthly bank account and inventory reconciliations, and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, and tax filings
  • Monitor financial statements, payroll, budgets, tax compliance issues, financial health, calculate variances, provide for a system of management cost reports, and provide financial analysis for investments and contract negotiations
  • Maintain a chart of accounts, an orderly accounting filing system, and update reports and databases
  • Manage the reception area and staff, take care of guests, supervisor the maintenance of office areas, equipment, and facilities 
  • Coordinate office activities, manage agendas and appointments for upper management, and perform other duties as needed

 

 

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Controller, and Office Administrator
  • Must have knowledge of accounting practices and principles
  • Must be familiar and comply with office management procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks is required
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize tasks
