Administrative Assistant
Job Description
An industrial company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and route phone calls
- Manage sample requests
- Assist with event planning such as lunches, travel, etc.
- Process invoices, enter orders, and provide customer service
- Support Sales, Shipping, and Accounting Departments as needed, as well as, backup to Accounts Receivable
- Assist General Manager and Finance Manager with Environmental Reporting and other projects as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have prior Administrative and basic Accounting experience
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace and accurate data entry skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and also as a team player
- Must have strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and maintain confidentiality
