Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Duties:
- Generate invoices and account statements
- Release orders, ensure credit compliance, and review/analyze customer hold accounts and work to resolve them
- Post customer payments; record cash, checks, wires, ACH, and credit card transactions
- Respond to and resolve customers billing issues and questions
- Make collection calls on past due accounts
- Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
- Research and resolve account discrepancies
- Maintain accurate aging report, maintain, and update customer files
- Perform customer credit analysis, credit limits, and cred holds as needed
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing company is a plus
- Must have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
- Must have strong computer skills, especially Excel, and experience with Epicor or other ERP Software
- Must have the ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with customers
- Must be detail oriented, accurate, organized with the ability to multi-task
- Must be able to maintain confidential at all times
