A manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Assistant for a full-time opportunity. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, you may have to stay later during month end close.
- Process invoices on a daily basis
- Call on past-due invoices, email statements, and past-due notices
- Download and file documents, accounts payable, and receivables
- Handle coding and posting of invoices
- Match paid invoices with check stubs
- Assist with month-end, year-end audit and inventory, and file clean-up
- Answer phones
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must have previous Accounting experience
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have strong organizational and customer service skills
- Must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
