Accounting Assistant
Job Description
We have an opportunity available for an individual to assist the Staff Accountant with day-to-day financial and accounting procedures. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accounting through Trial Balance, Accounts Payables, and Accounts Receivables
- Match packing slip to purchase orders and invoices
- Post invoices and review for accuracy
- Print Check run for payment approval
- All end of month billing
- Review all contracts and make sure clients are billed per contract
- Post payments to customer accounts
- Work with clients on past due accounts
- Purchase equipment and perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have strong accounting experience
- Must have a customer first attitude with all internal and external clients
- Must have proficient computer and accurate data entry skills
- Must be able to pay a high attention to detail while multi-tasking
- Must be organized, accountable, high energy, motivated, and a team player
- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
