This manufacturing company is offering an immediate full-time opportunity for a Domestic - International Shipping Clerk.  You will be responsible for handling outgoing domestic and international shipments, obtaining all the necessary information required to ship an item, executing the appropriate transactions in the company business systems, and investigating and resolving problems related to Shipping and Receiving.  You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Job Duties:

  • Work with the carriers to ensure outgoing shipments leave as scheduled, provide any required documentation, and handle both domestic and international shipments
  • Interact with other departments with the company as needed to ensure shipments arerivee when required
  • Address discrepancies between physical inventory and the ERP system
  • Move inventory and perform transactions in ERP System as required
  • Receive items as needed and perform inventory transactions
  • Support business initiatives, exhibit a genuine commitment to the success of all employes, and treat everyone with mutual respect
  • Perform other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred and Associate Degree is a plus
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience working in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment
  • Must have experience with domestic and international shipments
  • Experience with commercial invoicing and freight forwarding for international shipments is needed
  • Experience working with an ERP System, Word, Excel, FedEx, and UPS Systems
  • Must be certified to operate material handling equipment
  • Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
  • Must have the ability to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities
  • Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Solid work history with no attendance issues
