This non-profit organization is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a first shift opportunity.    

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a preventative maintenance program of all vital and emergency equipment and coordinate all inspections, testing, and repairs of equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the campus
  • Keep current all Safety Logs, Reports, MSDS Books, and be an active member of the Safety Committee
  • Supervise assigned staff, perform annual evaluation of each staff member, conduct counseling when needed, close-out work tickets, and manage maintenance database
  • Keep all staff informed of industry, code, and agency changes or policy updates, and maintain employee attendance timesheets and records
  • Assist primary maintenance workers, perform routine maintenance and repairs, and general maintenance of grounds keeping when necessary
  • Operate and maintain mechanical equipment, clean and repair machines and equipment, assist in locating, diagnosing, and correcting related problems
  • Exhibit teamwork, monitor for clean assigned work areas, complete weekly inspection checklist, and coordinate with other departments
  • On emergency call for extended hours or off-hour site presence to resolve immediate critical problems
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED along with additional training in plumbing, carpentry electrical, and HVAC
  • Must have 5 years of demonstrated work experience in a maintenance capacity which includes at least 2 years of supervision
  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License to travel between sites
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot building and ground equipment and systems
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with exceptional organizational skills
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures
