Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Food Service Associate to work Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; however, some evenings and weekends may be required for catering admission events, homecoming picnic, graduations, and alumni weekend.

Job Duties:

  • Serving lunch on a hot line and help them understand all the choices for lunch with a friendly disposition
  • Prepare condiments and replenish condiments for lunch
  • Pack lunches for field trips, immersion days, and away sport competitions
  • Clean and sanitize food prep areas
  • Set and clean up the lunchroom
  • Clean and sanitize dining room tables and serving lines
  • Assist with operating the dish washer and sort silverware
  • Check faculty coffee house and restock coffee condiments
  • Simple food preparation which includes basic knife skills
  • Will be cross trained in the kitchen/dining room areas

 

 

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous food service experience is a plus
  • Must have a positive attitude while being proactive and taking initiative to get things done
  • Must have a friendly disposition with the students
  • Must work as a team player, be on time for work, and be flexible

Only candidates that can pass a background, FBI, BCI, and TB test will be considered.  Benefits are provided upon permanent hire.
