Customer Service/Outside Sales Rep
Westlake, OH | Temp-to-Hire
A supply company is seeking a Customer Service Representative that would transition into an Outside Sales position. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Prepare and follow-up on quotes and samples for customers
- Research vendors for materials and/or specifications requested
- Create and execute purchase orders
- Perform basic accounting duties
- Develop a good follow-up routine for customers and sales orders
- Handle shipment of materials and documentation
- Resolve non-conforming materials in a timely fashion
- Keep abreast of inventory and stock requirements
- Qualify sales leads
- Assist team members and execute special projects as assigned
- Prior outside sales and basic accounting experience is preferred
- Must be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable on the phone
- Must be able to work in a small office and wear many hats
- Must have solid organizational and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail is important
- Must be enthusiastic and energetic
