A large manufacturing and supply company is seeking a Purchasing Assistant for a full-time position. Responsibilities include data entry, contacting vendors, negotiating prices, purchasing and maintaining stock inventory, taking orders from clients, learning the products, and assisting the Estimator and Purchasing Agent with any administrative duties. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years administrative experience, must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills, must be detail-oriented, must have superior customer service skills and must be reliable. Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Any candidate that has experience working in the office of a manufacturing company is a huge plus.
