Vacuum Heat Treat Furnace Operator
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking an individual to setup Heat Treating Batch Furnaces, follow production schedules and work orders to determine processing sequences. You will be responsible for the safe operation of batch furnaces and tempering furnaces. In addition, you will perform material handling duties using a forklift, pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or furnace loader, when necessary. Work hours are first shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates must have 4 years Heat Treat Furnace Operator experience, must have the ability to follow production schedules and work orders requirements, must be able to work safely and efficiently at all times to ensure that rigid quality requirements and productivity standards are being achieved, must have the ability to determine work order sequences, furnace temperature, and dew points, must be safety-conscious, and must have a strong work ethic with no attendance issues. Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
