A manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector Technician to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as needed.

Duties:

• Assist with the monitoring of employee compliance to company Quality Management System
• Inspect vendor and company manufactured components and finished goods
• Analyze customer and regulatory requirements, support customer and agency audits, ensure Quality Assurance record retention, and track and document all components and materials
• Program mechanical and visual inspections of components and document, tag, and segregate products in accordance with all procedures
• Conduct in-process inspections and final signoffs on all assemblies, monitor scheduled work and sales orders, and facilitate testing of finished goods
• Attend manufacturing and engineering staff meetings
• Manage the calibration of all test equipment and quality control tools and document any non-conforming parts, materials, or assemblies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have a College Degree or 2 to 5 years Quality related experience
• Experience with ISO 9001-2005 or similar Quality Management System is required
• Must have experience in leading projects of significant scope and contribute expertise as required on other projects
• Must have strong knowledge of GD&T as well as the ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment
• Must have the ability to work with other departments to develop or improve testing methods and protocols
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and able to learn and use QMS and ERP Software programs
• Must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, instructions, bills of materials, and review RFQ/RFP's
• Must have excellent communication, strong math, and basic business writing skills 
• Must be able to pay a high attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must have the ability to travel to vendor and customer sites to discuss quality issues
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
