Customer Service/Purchasing Clerk

This distribution company is seeking a Customer Service/Purchasing Clerk for a full-time opportunity. In this position you will start out entering purchase orders, filing, preparing invoices, answering phones, updating and maintaining database, and handling customer service responsibilities. Eventually, you will transition to a Purchasing position. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Qualified candidates must have strong customer service skills, must have prior purchasing experience, must be able to multi-task while being professional and detail-oriented, must have a friendly and outgoing personality, and must have accurate data entry skills. Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
