An automobile body shop is seeking an Estimator who can run an efficient and profitable body shop department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, and achievement of department objectives.  In addition, you will also prepare cost estimates by inspecting vehicles and determining the cost of upgrading, refurbishing and repairing vehicle damage.  Work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Duties:

• Willingly provide superior customer service levels that exceed customer expectations while staying within company policies and guidelines
• Build a loyal customer base by establishing a trusting relationship founded on integrity and fairness
• Promote a positive working relationship with all insurance companies, dealerships, and adjusters
• Determine and address the customer's needs, problems, complaints, requests, questions, and deadlines, listening effectively to understand and communicate pertinent subject matter in a business-like manner to both customers and employees
• Keep the customer in mind at all times, proactively identifying and addressing concerns and needs, and seek to provide quality service in order to build customer loyalty
• Actively listen and communicate respectfully and effectively and present information in an engaging and understandable manner
• Complete tasks accurately, thoroughly and with an eye toward quality, and in accordance with established processes and procedure
• Assume personal responsibility for all aspects of work: quality, timeliness and results; seeking to complete tasks with little oversight and communicate with rental companies to schedule rentals for customer
• Know, understand, and perform general service duties and maintain current product knowledge on all tires, service, and other product lines
• Prepare accurate estimates, billings, and invoices for customers
• Demonstrates a sincere concern for customers and present a warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional image to customers

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have at least 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Musts be able to operate small hand tools necessary to performing the duties of the mechanic or technician role
• Must be comfortable working in an environment while being exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, while frequently being exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be extremely safety-conscious and detail-oriented
• Must have the ability to demonstrate a sincere concern for customer and present a warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional image
