Job Description
A management company is seeking an individual who can provide administrative, accounting, and analysis support. This is a full-time position and work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Maintain contact list, correspondence, appointments, and calendars, answer incoming calls, monitor and distribute incoming faxes, greet visitors, and handle all daily incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain confidential and business files, develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system, and handle basic office management responsibilities
- Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies, ensure that office equipment is maintained and operational, and provide support to the Chief Operating Officer, Property Management, and Marketing teams
- Enter data and perform maintenance of the Appfolio Investment Management software, assist with basic IT and telecommunications issues, transcribe bi-weekly meetings, and assist with special projects
- Assist with month and year-end processing, mail out invoices, statements, and checks, and deposit checks and cash received
- Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have an Education in finance, mathematics, economics, accounting, or real estate related field
- Must have Administrative experience, as well as basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Must be proficient developing and facilitating effective training presentations
- Must have proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and be familiar with basic accounting parlance and software; MRI or RealPage
- Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills while paying a high attention to detail
- Must have proven problem-solving skills and multi-tasking capabilities
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently while using discretion and be confidential at all times
